Samik Bhattacharya

Samik is an experienced Electrical Power Engineer with over 30 years of expertise in design, network studies, protection schemes, and primary and secondary systems for transmission substations. His background spans renewable energy, diesel and gas-based generators, traction power, and industrial reticulation systems.
Graduating in 1991 in India, Samik has worked across India, Japan, Ireland, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates before settling in Australia. He has gained valuable experience working with both consulting engineers and turnkey contractors.
Now based in Brisbane, Queensland, Samik currently works part-time at Signal Energy, managing the testing and commissioning of solar farms across Australia. Over the past six years, he has managed generator registration, connection studies, and R2 testing.
